Arizona
Songwriters Association this has got to be the best local
songwriters group. They have many events and really want to help local
songwriters. Gavan Weiser is heavily involved with it...nuff said.

Phoenix once again has a local chapter of this great songwriters
organization! The local coordinator is William Love and they have
meetings on the first Tuesday of every month.

Music Arizona A great website with lots of info for the local
acoustic artist and fan.
http://www.durango-songwriters-expo.com/ This is an expo that is
coming to Arizona in October of 2007. It's run by great people and
they attract some movers and shakers in the industry.

know where the open mics are--here is your place. This a great
national list and hey...I owe the guy as he has listed my site on

Bob Villa's Website Bob is a great friend of mine and anyone who
has been around the open mic scene to any degree in the past few years

Hathaway's Site Sandy is not only a great local singer/songwriter,
but she is also a VERY good person to know if you like to network with

Other things I find amusing
Mindlesscrap.com I found this site while searching for the
mega-amusing Bud lite's "Real Men of Genius" sound files. Yep...this
site has all of them plus some other VERY funny and trivial items.
Spam Haiku Some fine haiku singing the praises of that
timeless, pink, canned meat.
