About Motel Arizona
Motel
Arizona’s fiery-eyed and satin-voiced cowgirls, Hap and Squeak, hit
the new frontier with a holler back to the golden age of western song
and cowboys of the silver screen, along with their trusty pard'ner,
Smiley.
Rounding up the herd of classics like “Tumbling Tumbleweeds”, “Don’t
Fence Me In”, “Along the Navajo Trail” and “Cow Cow Boogie”, this
vintage western trio saddle up the bass fiddle and warm up their
yodels just in time for a traditional western revue.
Hailing from the heart of the wild west, Motel Arizona aims to tell
the story of the lonely life of cattle drivers on the dry and dusty
plains through rich imagery of the southwest and the crossbreed of
Texas Swing and Bluegrass music -- following in the footsteps of early
20th century greats such as Patsy Montana, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Rex
Allen and Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. Yee-haw!
