About Peter

You've got a friend in Peter MacIntyre are the first words that will come to your mind when you here him perform at your local coffee shop.  His warm vocals will sooth and wash away your worries.  As a matter of fact, if you dim the lights and squint your eyes, you just might think you're at a James Taylor concert.  This Adult Alternative artist is a word smith who brings something back to the singer songwriter genre that has been missing for years, "melody".

Peter is a solo artist who performs locally at coffee shops, taverns and resorts in Phoenix, Arizona metro area.  He easily mixes both original and cover tunes in the same set and does a wonderful job over covering James Taylor, The Beatles and Harry Chapin.

His original compositions have a strong lyrical content that are both autobiographical as well as a reflection of the times that we live in.  One of his most moving songs is a ballad titled "Child's Play" which tells a tale of a young lady who struggles with loneliness due to her need to have everything her way.  Another song titled "My Way Back Home" is an upbeat tune where Peter tells of us his struggle with trying to find his way back home after leaving his home town of Cleveland, Ohio.

His second C.D. Titled "Louder Than Words" will be released autumn of
2005.
